This wooly, grey caterpillar just showed up on the wall of the house one day. I looked up what it was at the time, and remember reading that it would eat maple, among other things. So, we moved it and set it on our maple tree. Now, when I am actually publishing the picture, I can’t figure out what kind of caterpillar this was again! Based on googling now, the closest is Spotted Apatalodes or Hickory Tussock, but they don’t seem quite right. I will try some more to figure out what kind it is.
